Born Jema Prince, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Prince Jema has become one of the music industry's most underrated artist. He is the son of Haitian immigrants but has had little contact with his father, who left the family when Prince Jema was only a toddler. His early musical influences ranged from traditional Haitian Kompa music to Kanye West. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy being his favorite album of all time.

Never shy, the class clown began preforming in elementary school in 4th grade he preformed "No More Fighting" by Shaq a track from the Steel soundtrack at the school's talent show. Prince Jema started recording his efforts while in high school with producer Brian "Cutz" Clercy in Cutz's closet at Cutz's grandmothers house. After dropping out, of high school due to various fights involving heritage driven feuds that lead to street related encounters. He continued exploring his interest in music, and started a label called Fuck Da World Records with partner Guimy "JF" Alexis were they released several mixtapes. This, along with guest appearances on Young $tack$ single "What it's Gone Be", helped push his brand forward as a hook maker. He furnished Haitian Fresh his single "Bad Blood" which title was later changed to "Sanzave" is the same name of his brand owned and operated by Prince Jema and his partner Lajan Man.

Despite his growing popularity, he managed to hide himself from the public at large. Prince Jema refused to preform along side of acts in which he had written hooks for for a long time. Prince Jema is known to have worked with almost every producer in Broward County as well as been to almost every Studio in the county. Prince Jema was a co-owner of several studio of which he choses to keep nameless. He currently owns a record label and publishing company with partner Lajan Man. The two form a production / music group called Sanzaves.

Shrivelove is Prince Jema first solo project and only time will tell the influence it will have on the music industry critics already calling it one of the greatest projects ever delivered independently by a basically unknown artist.
